Job Description
Sales and Business Development:
- Proactively identify and secure new MICE and events business opportunities.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and associations.
- Conduct client presentations, sales calls, and site inspections to promote the property or venue.
- Maintain an updated pipeline of potential clients and leads.
Event Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Events and Operations team to ensure seamless planning and execution of MICE and events.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Provide accurate event details, schedules, and requirements to internal teams.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities.
- Conduct regular market analysis to adapt sales strategies to changing conditions.
- Participate in MICE-related trade shows, networking events, and conferences to represent the organization.
Budgeting and Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets for MICE and event-related activities.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports to track performance against targets.
- Manage contracts, invoicing, and payments related to MICE bookings.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and materials tailored for MICE clientele.
- Liaise with F&B, Operations, and other departments to deliver exceptional event experiences.
